- Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression
- Manage check-in/check-out using EHR systems
- Verify insurance and review documentation
- Schedule appointments efficiently using practice management software
- Process payments and handle basic billing in compliance with HIPAA
- Answer multi-line phones and direct calls professionally
- Maintain accurate and secure patient records
Requirements
- Prior front desk experience in a medical or dental setting preferred
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems; dental software is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and insurance billing
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, typing accuracy)
- Ability to handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA
- Bilingual skills preferred
